Study Overview
Elbow pain is very common within the U.S. workforce, accounting for approximately 20% of work-related musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and 1 million new cases annually. This is the first study to illustrate the impact of a digital care program in the successful management of non-traumatic elbow pain. Alongside significant recovery in pain and disability, patients reported more than 60% reduction in anxiety and depression, 58% reduction in surgery intent, and 72% decline in productivity impairment. This study positions Sword Health as the first digital MSK care company to report successful management of MSK conditions of the elbow.
