Study Overview
Shoulder pain has a lifetime prevalence of nearly 70% and is one of the most common musculoskeletal (MSK) complaints in primary care. In this study, Sword Health assessed the outcomes, engagement, and satisfaction of a large group of patients (296 patients) complaining of chronic shoulder pain. Significant improvements were observed in disability (52%), pain (55%), mental health (50%–64%), surgery likelihood (56%), and work productivity (67%). We are the only digital MSK solution to publish outcomes on one of the most technologically challenging conditions to manage remotely: chronic shoulder pain.
